STAND OUT- A Mother/Daughter Empowerment Day 5/4/2013

I was hired to cover a memorable event in celebration of mother’s day. The event was organized by The Gemz, a faith-based mentoring and leadership program for young ladies and girls between the ages of 11 and 18 in the DC/MD/VA area. The organization hosts a yearly mother/daughter breakfast meeting where several motivational speakers share words of encouragement to participants. All in attendance had so much fun especially the young girls who spent time with Miss Teen USA (Logan West). This video is a highlight of activities from the event. Enjoy

Taiwo & Kehinde's Birthday Cocktail Party

Taiwo and Kehinde are twin sisters who make events classy. Their birthday party as expected, was chic and very classy. Taiwo owns “Glow Events Management & Bridal Services”, a full service social and corporate event planning company. Kehinde, popularly known as DJ SOUPAMODEL is a DJ widely known for her unique ability to spin all genres of music at social and corporate events. Taiwo and Kehinde as most of their friends acknowledge, “do their things big and different”. As you will see in the video, the party lived up to the expectations of everyone.
