I was hired to cover a memorable event in celebration of mother’s day. The event was organized by The Gemz, a faith-based mentoring and leadership program for young ladies and girls between the ages of 11 and 18 in the DC/MD/VA area. The organization hosts a yearly mother/daughter breakfast meeting where several motivational speakers share words of encouragement to participants. All in attendance had so much fun especially the young girls who spent time with Miss Teen USA (Logan West). This video is a highlight of activities from the event. Enjoy
